Internships Cleveland Museum of Art

January 7, 2013

WHO:

Students must be currently enrolled in school in order to be considered for an internship. High school, undergraduate, and graduate students may submit materials for unpaid internships.

WHAT:

The Cleveland Museum of Art offers both unpaid and paid internship and fellowship opportunities. In addition to adding practical skills to their résumés, museum interns meet regularly with museum professionals to gain a sense of the overall workings of the institution. We structure our internship terms to comply with most university requirements for an independent study—check with your college or university for details on its requirements.

While specific opportunities for placement change from semester to semester, past placements have occurred in various departments such as curatorial, education, collections management, and the Ingalls Library.

WHEN:

Spring 2017—applications due December 15, 2016
