The Artist Residency Program is designed to support an emerging artist by providing working and living space, an opportunity to build their portfolio and a chance to exhibit their work. The program provides a creative artist (skilled in painting, drawing, illustrating, pastels, 2-dimensional multimedia, etc.) the chance to spend two weeks in a place away from their usual environment, to meet new people from a different community, to experience a different location and to concentrate on their artistic work. The program will allow the artist to connect with members of the local arts community through the Arts Center, to engage in an educational experience in the arts community, and to exhibit their work at CTAC.
